In the latest such incident three people blatantly harassed and abused a young girl, and the police failed to arrest any culprit in spite of safe city CCTV cameras.
The victim, S*, told Khana police that she was walking to her home near Zia Mosque when three suspects, in which one was later identified as Anwar blocked her way and started disturbing her, and when she resisted, they blatantly pushed her, slapped her, tugged her scarf away and threatened to kill her. Police registered the case but have yet to arrest any suspect.

In a very recent incident, eight people broke into a house and tore a young girl’s clothes and assaulted her, while in another incident a suspect threatened to kill a young girl for refusing to be his friend.
A girl named *M* told Golrah police that she lives in Gulshan Khudada with her parents and a man named Saeed Akhtar is trying to blackmail her and threatened her saying if she declined his offer of friendship he would kill her. The culprit calls her on the telephone regularly, consistently threatening to kill her. M informed the police that she is now too afraid to leave her house, fearing for her safety. Police have registered an FIR against the suspect but failed to arrest him.

Police failed to arrest any of the nine suspects involved in either of these incidents.
In another incident, a resident of Sector G-8/2 Walayat Khan told Karachi Company police that suspects Ghulam Haider and Ghulam Ali along with their six companions broke into their house in Sector G-8/ 2 and assaulted his young daughter, she was dragged by her hair, they also ripped her clothes and assaulted her, then they fired bullets into the air and escaped. Police have registered the case but have not arrested any culprit.
