The hearing for the case was held at the Judicial Complex of Karachi Central Jail. The court directed the police to arrest Rahim and present him at the next hearing on September 25.
According to police, the Sindh High Court and an ATC have already rejected bail pleas filed by Rahim, who went into hiding after his bail plea was rejected.
A search for him is under way while eight Anti-Car Lifting Cell officials have already been taken into custody for their involvement in the case.
Perween Rahman case
Meanwhile, an ATC reserved its verdict against the bail plea of Raheem Swati, accused of murdering Orangi Pilot Project Director Perween Rahman.
Arguments of both the sides were completed over the bail plea of Swati. However, the plaintiff did not produce any witness on Monday. The court directed the West SSP to protect the witnesses.
The hearing was adjourned till September 18. According to the police, Rahman was targeted while going to office on March 13, 2013.
