CM Punjab vows to implement 100-day plan

Says his government would introduce a comprehensive and long-lasting policy to eradicate poverty

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said on Sunday that they were working day and night to implement the 100-day plan of the government in its true essence and one steering and 15 sub-committees were set up to achieve the goal.

Likewise, a working group has been devised in order to fulfill the promise of setting up of a province in South Punjab on administrative grounds. He said his government would introduce a comprehensive and long-lasting policy to eradicate poverty from under-privileged districts of Punjab.

In another statement, Buzdar said they would bring agricultural reforms to expand production capacity and change in agricultural marketing as well as livestock culture which will be fruitful for farmers.

The chief minister said the provision of clean water was included in 100-day plan. Women development project would give new identity to Pakistan as it was impossible to move forward on the road of progress without active participation of women.
