KPCSW condemns domestic violence incidents

PESHAWAR: The K-P Commission on Status of Women (KPCSW) has strongly condemned recent incident of domestic violence in Peshawar.The commission mentioned the recent incident of domestic violence in the Gulbahar area of Peshawar city where a wife was allegedly beaten ruthlessly by her husband. The victim has reportedly received major injuries. “KPCSW calls on the authorities to exercise zero tolerance approach to such incidents that cause physical, sexual and psychological harm to women,” KPCSW Chairperson Neelum Toru said.
