Vacation turned sour: 8 injured as jeep falls into Naran ravine

BALAKOT: At least eight tourists, including two women, were injured when the jeep they were riding from Lake Saiful Mulook fell into a ravine. A group of tourists from Gujranwala had travelled to the Naran valley for vacations. They had travelled up to the scenic Lake Saiful Mulook. While heading back from the lake on the dirt path, their jeep fell into a deep ditch. As a result, at least eight people, including two women, were injured. The injured were rushed to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Balakot where they were provided first aid and basic medical care before being dispatched to Mansehra and Abbottabad for further medical treatment.
