Michael Moore posts a really dark tweet following Trump's win
PHOTO: THE IRISH TIMESSpeaking of his upcoming film Fahrenheit 11/9, Moore told The Hollywood Reporter that when Trump heard Stefani was going to earn more than him for her participation on reality show The Voice, he staged his Trump Tower announcement to prove his popularity to NBC. At the time, Trump was negotiating with the broadcasting company to pay him more for his appearance on The Apprentice.
PHOTO: VARIETYMoore claimed, "He had been talking about running for president since 1988 but he didn't really want to be president. There's no penthouse in the White House and he doesn't want to live in a black city. He was trying to pit NBC against another network but it just went off the rails."
After Trump accused Mexico for sending rapists across the border, NBC cut all ties with him. He had said, "When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re sending people that have a lot of problems and they’re bringing those problems to us. They’re bringing drugs and crime. They’re rapists."
PHOTO: THE CUTLater, when Trump found himself being cheered on by massive crowds and the media, he figured that it was time to make a serious run for the highest office in the US. He ran for the seat against Democrat Hillary Clinton and successfully defeated her.
Michael Moore drops surprise Trump film
Moore's Fahrenheit 11/9 references the actual date of the 2016 US elections and may start with Trump. However, it will also cover subjects such as the water crisis and the students who organised the March for Our Lives in Washington.
