The first group of 67 horses has successfully been transported by Emirates SkyCargo for the World Equestrian Games Tryon 2018.

According to a press release by the airline, a freighter aircraft Boeing 777 carried the horses from Belgium to US.

This is the first out of the 19 special chartered flights for the event, the statement added.

"With over 500 horses being flown for the Games, this is the largest air horse charter that has been undertaken for a single sporting event," it said.
