SARGODHA: Three people died in a road accident in the limits of Jauhrabad police on Monday. According to police, Abdullah of Chak 45/MB, along with his wife Naziran Bibi, was on his way home on a motorcycle near Grout Chowk, Jauhrabad-Muzaffargarh Road when a recklessly driven van coming from an opposite direction collided with their vehicle. As a result, Abdullah, Naziran, and conductor of the van, Farooq, died on the spot. Meanwhile, police have arrested three suspects and recovered narcotics, strings and kites from them. Police said during continued drive against drug pushers and anti-social elements the teams of different police stations had conducted raids within their jurisdiction and arrested three accused persons, identified as Muhammad Akram, Omar Farooq and Naeem Akhtar. The police also recovered two kilogrammes of hashish, roles of string and hundreds of kites from them. They also registered separate cases against the suspects.
