'Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2' surpasses 'Sanju' in Pakistan
Nadeem Beyg's romcom earned Rs206.4 million in the first week since its release

Actors Humayun Saeed and Fahad Mustafa’s recent multi-starrer, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 (JPNA 2) has surpassed Ranbir Kapoor's blockbuster, Sanju, in the first week of its release, reported Express News.
The Nadeem Beyg-helmed romcom hit cinemas on Eidul Azha alongside two other local releases, Parwaaz Hai Junoon and Load Wedding. Since, the film has taken a prominent lead at the box office.
JPNA 2 reportedly earned Rs20.9 million on its opening day. The figure increased in the following days with the film raking in Rs35.8 million and Rs34.1 million, on its second and third day respectively.
It further bagged a whopping Rs37.1 million on its fourth day and Rs31.8 million on day five. Its earnings on the sixth and seventh day were Rs19.2 million and Rs10.7 million, respectively.
The film overall earned Rs206.4 million in the first week since its release. This business includes the Rs2.4 million it collected at the premiere.
On the other hand, Bollywood’s most successful film of 2018 yet, Sanju, broke records at the local box office. It's collection totalled Rs186.5 million in the first week of its release at Pakistani cinemas.
