Vacation notification: Schools ordered to stay shut in June, July

Sindh education department would cancel registration of schools that aren’t closed during these two months.

KARACHI: The Sindh education department has decided to take legal action against private schools that ignore the chief minister’s notification of May 28 on summer vacations.

The directorate of private institutions announced that it would cancel the registration of all those schools that aren’t closed during the months of June and July.

Its teams will make surprise visits to private schools during June and July, and action will be taken against those who aren’t complying with the orders. The directorate has reportedly taken notice of those institutions that have decided to stay open during June and have summer vacations in July and August.
