
Professor Fateh Muhammad Malik, Rector International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) on Monday announced the establishment of Dr Nabi Bux Khan Baloch chair in Department of Urdu and named a road after him to commemorate his contributions as founder Vice Chancellor of Islamic University Islamabad.
Addressing the reference organised by IIUI in the memory of late Dr Baloch, a renowned scholar and educationist, here on Monday. Professor Dr Nazir A Sangi, vice chancellor, Allama Iqbal Open University presided over while Dr Abdul Ghaffar Soomro, Secretary Ministry of Sports, was the guest of honour on this occasion.
Professor Fateh Muhammad Malik paid rich tribute to Dr Baloch and recalled that he started Islamic University with a total strength of nine students and now there are more than twenty thousand students enrolled in different programmes of IIUI.
