The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced a 23-member Punjab cabinet hours after Prime Minister Imran Khan interviewed provincial lawmakers at his Bani Gala residence in Islamabad on Sunday.

A session was held at Imran’s residence, where Punjab Chief Minister Uzman Buzdar and others recommended for the cabinet were present.

According to a party statement, Yasmin Rashid has been assigned the portfolio of health while Mehmoodur Rasheed and Aleem Khan have been given the charge of Housing, and Local Government, respectively.

Other notable members in the provincial cabinet include Fayyaz Chawhan, Mian Aslam and Raja Basharat, among others.

Muhammad Sibtain, Sardar Asif Nigai and Hafiz Mumtaz have also been named in the provincial cabinet.

Iftikhar Khan | 6 years ago | Reply First time in the history of Pakistan, Punjab cabinet would be dominated by geographic Punjabis of non-Punjabi heritage - Kakazais, Pashtuns, Bloch, Syeds, ... a revival of Mughal era Punjab administration.
