The woman, who belonged to Vehari, contended that her parents distributed the property in 1952 to their sons and sisters but after the death of her mother, her brothers had denied her the rightful share.
“Tell me, under what law did you not give the share of property to your sister?” the CJP asked her brothers.
CJP dismayed over OLMT delay
“You kept your sister in troubles the whole life,” the chief justice remarked, adding, “You cannot take your land in grave.”
The chief justice gave one week to complete the necessary work and ordered the police officials concerned to submit report after the woman get possession of the land.
