A Haryana girl committed suicide on Wednesday after being raped and blackmailed by two men for several months, Hindustan Times reported.
Police claimed to have nabbed three suspects after her father recorded a statement on Thursday. In a note, the deceased accused Ravi and Balram of rape after drugging her. She said the men kept threatening to leak photos. The girl said one Poonam had been helping them blackmail her.
Seven-year-old among dozens raped at Bihar girls' shelter
Police said the girl was taken to a hospital after swallowing poison on Wednesday. She had taken her father into confidence at the hospital and also mentioned how she had placed a note in her diary.
The deceased was then taken to Rohtak's Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences after her condition deteriorated. She later died there.
The three suspects will be produced before court on Friday.

Just in July, a woman was burnt alive for resisting gang-rape in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, a Russian tourist was gang-raped.
In June, protests erupted in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh after the rape of a seven year old girl who was hospitalized, a Japanese tourist was raped by a taxi driver in a north Indian town, followed by the rape of a 20-year-old Canadian tourist by her guest house owner in Delhi.
A Latvian woman was drugged, raped and beheaded in May and in January an 8 year old Kashmiri girl was drugged, raped for days and killed in Indian occupied Kashmir.
Sexual violence is rife in India with nearly 40,000 rape cases reported in 2016, which activists say is the tip of the iceberg as most cases go unreported. Madhya Pradesh reported the most rapes of any Indian state in 2016, with more than 4,900 cases reported, according to government data.
