Higher education: Barriers to women education discussed

ISLAMABAD: A three-day workshop on "Professional Development for Young Academics" concluded on Monday at Fatima Jinnah Women University, organised by Women Research and Resource Centre (WRRC).

On closing ceremony of workshop Prof Uzma Quraishi talked about women in higher education leadership and problems and barriers they face.

‘No progress without education’

Dr Bushra Ghaus talked about quality assurance in higher education. She briefly defined learning modes, how to rank universities on international level, what was MOOCs and courser courses how to get admission in that to improve your skills.

FJWU Vice Chancellor Prof Samina Amin Qadir said university is the training ground where you are prepared to face the challenges of the real world.
