MNA demands Balochistan youth be hired on 18,000 vacant posts in the federal govt

QUETTA: Newly-elected Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Agha Hassan Baloch has said for the Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) implementation of its six points are more important than ministries and other perks and privileges.
“Our party is not against development in Balochistan, instead we have been striving for an educated province,” said Hassan, who is also the BNP-M central information secretary, in a statement issued on Sunday.

He said, “We are in favour of CPEC, but on one condition that the people of Balochistan must be the first beneficiaries of the multi-billion dollar project.”
The condition is part of the six-point agenda of the BNP-M inked with the new Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
The BNP-M had agreed to support the PTI at the Centre following assurance by the latter that their six points would be implemented.

BNP-M vows end to sale of resources

Hassan said, “Safe recovery of missing persons, giving ownership of Balochistan’s natural resources to its people, building new dams, safe repatriation of Afghan refugees and implementation of 6% provincial quota in federal jobs are the key issues.
“We seek legislation through the National Assembly to bar outsiders from obtaining NICs and passports from Gwadar because the local people will turn into minority.”
He expressed grave concern over the fact that the people of Gwadar were deprived of drinking water.

July 25 referendum day against dummy leadership: BNP-M

Citing 18,000 vacant posts in the federal government, the MNA said, “The federal government has been neglecting the unemployed youth of Balochistan. The 18,000 jobs should be provided to them on immediate basis.
“Implementation of the six-point agenda will be our party’s victory because we want to gift a corruption-free Balochistan to the people.”
On 2018 general elections held on July 25, Hassan said, “Though our mandate was stolen in the elections, we have been shouldering democracy in the country.”
He demanded equal treatment of all nations living in Balochistan, vowing to show resistance if injustice befell any one of them.
