Ameeruddin Medical College gets international recognition

The institute is gaining fame due to their exemplary results and dedicated faculty, says the principal

Ameeruddin Medical College has been recognised as a component of the University of Health Sciences by the General Medical Council (GMC) of United Kingdom, said Ameeruddin Medical College Principal Muhammaed Tayyab while presiding over a meeting on Saturday.

The principal said it was an honour for new and emerging colleges such as theirs to be recognised by a prestigious global medical organisation.

Ameeruddin Medical College has gained fame due to their exemplary results and dedicated faculty, he added.

The college focuses on medical research and innovation which has resulted in the institution becoming one of the top medical colleges in the country, he remarked. It was established in 2011 on the initiative of former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif.
