Cricket: Women’s team demands live telecast

Captain demands domestic and international matches of the women's team be broadcast to promote the sport.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s women cricket players have expressed the need of women cricketers are no less than men as they won the first Asian Games gold medal last year.

The team captain Sana Mir said, “We defeated Sri Lanka at the last ball in the Quadrangular T-20 championship and if these matches were telecasted live, cricket fans would have found it interesting.”

Mir further emphasised that women cricketers are no less than men as they won the first Asian Games gold medal last year.
