Rajwana says that he has fulfilled all his duties under the Constitution

LAHORE: Punjab Governor Malik Rafique Rajwana resigned from his office, announcing that he will start practicing law again.

He made the announcement during his visit to the Lahore High Court Bar Association on Wednesday. Rajwana said that he had fulfilled all his duties under the Constitution and had tried his best to meet the trust and expectations put in his leadership.

“The bar is my home and today, I have returned to my home,” he maintained. I started my practical life by wearing a black coat and today once again I will put it on, he added.

He maintained that he had tried his best to solve the problems that lawyers faced and to keep the door of his office open for everyone, he said.

Malik Rafiq Rajwana was appointed as Punjab governor in May 2015.
