Eradicating Militancy: Pakistan’s sacrifices cannot be forgotten

GILGIT: Speaker of the Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly (GBLA) Wazir Baig said on Saturday that Pakistan is successfully combating terrorism and its sacrifices cannot be forgotten. The speaker told the news agency that Pakistan is playing a leading role in fighting terrorism. Baig said the roots of terrorism could be only be eradicated through joint efforts at regional and international level. Commenting on the recent resolution about drone attacks, he said that it is in interest of Pakistan-US relations.
