Power Theft: PESCO recovers Rs1.6m

PESHAWAR: Operation clean-up at the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) Hazara Circle is in full swing under the supervision of SE Hazara Circle as the company recovered Rs1.6 million from consumers for the illegal use of electricity.

The company is carrying out an operation in the Hazara Circle jurisdiction. Chief Executive Pesco Muhammad Wali directed all field officers and staff to fully utilise their energies for the removal of Kundas and the recovery of arrears, so the electricity distribution system can become smooth and the public would no longer be plagued by power interruptions.
