Five members of the same family gunned down

Those responsible will be brought to justice, DIG reaffirms

As many as five members of a family were killed in a shootout between two rival groups in Phularwan village, Barki.

DIG operations Shehzad Akbar, taking notice of the incident, said that "The family will be given full justice."

Police has moved the bodies to the hospital for medical formalities, while an inquiry has been initiated.

DIG stated that SP Cantt Bilal Iftikhar will spearhead the investigation.

According to sources, clash between the two groups—Laathi and Shaatir— escalated with both opening fire at each other.

Three victims were identified as Qurban, Arshad and Basheer.
