Heavy vehicles: Ban extended from May 22

KARACHI: The Home Department of Sindh, which had imposed a ban on heavy vehicles on the roads during 6:00 am to 10:00 pm for 60 days under Section 144 under the Code of Criminal Procedure, has extended the period for a further 60 days from May 22. The home department also extended the ban on the plying of heavy vehicles carrying water and construction materials for 60 days under the same provision with effect from May 22.
