Corruption: Two FDA officials suspended

The officers are suspended on charges of corruption and abuse of powers.

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) director general (DG) has suspended two officers on charges of corruption and abuse of powers. An FDA spokesperson issued a statement on Friday, saying that action has been taken on the complaint of Madina Town resident Zulfiqar Ahmad. Ahmed levelled allegations against Divisional Head Draftsman/Building planning inspector Joel Luis and FDA encroachment inspector Sana Ullah. Following the filing of the complaint, FDA DG ordered an inquiry against the accused officers and the allegations were proved true during a preliminary investigation. Both officials have been suspended with immediate effect.
