Personal Disputes: Clash claims three lives

ATTOCK: Clash between two groups claimed three lives in the jurisdiction of Jand police station. Mazhar Hussain and his relatives, residents of Chhapri, were having some dispute with Muhammad Siraj and others of the same village. On Monday afternoon they exchanged harsh words and started firing at each other. They also attacked one another with sharp knives. As a result Mazhar Hussain and Siraj died on the spot while Fayyaz, Ejaz, Shahzad and Akram received serious injuries. Police shifted the bodies and injured to the Jand Tehsil Headquarters Hospital where Fayyaz succumbed to his injuries. Due to their life threatening wounds Shahzad and Akram were later shifted to Rawalpindi. So far no FIR was registered, however police have started an investigation.
