Cricket: Warne’s mentor Jenner dies

SYDNEY: Former Australia Test cricketer Terry Jenner, who helped turn Shane Warne into one of the world’s greatest bowlers, died Wednesday aged 66. Leg-spinner Jenner suffered a massive heart attack while coaching in England in April 2010 and never fully regained his health, passing away at his home in Adelaide, said Cricket Australia in a statement. He played nine Tests for Australia and later started coaching in the early 1990s, and was regularly on hand to refine Warne’s action during his record-breaking career.
