Four terrorists killed, three held in Balochistan operations

Security forces killed four terrorists and apprehended three more in multiple intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Balochistan.

"Security forces conducted an IBO in Ghazi mountains astride Sibi - Kohlu road," the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said. "Three terrorist suspects were apprehended."

"Explosive, weapons and ammunition including detonating cord and communication equipment [were] recovered," the military's media wing said.

In another operation, it added, security forces conducted [an] IBO on [a] terrorist hideout in Awaran. "During [the] operation, four terrorists were killed. Weapons and ammunition recovered."

Earlier today, former senator of Awami National Party (ANP) Daud Achakzai sustained injuries after unidentified armed men opened fire at a guesthouse he was staying in Qila Abdullah area.

On Friday, in the deadliest attack in Balochistan’s history, claimed by the Da’ish, 130 people lost their lives as a suicide bomber struck an election rally of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) in Mastung.
