Citizens deprived of valuables in Faisalabad hold-ups

Mugging and robbery incidents are on the rise in the district

FAISALABAD: Robbers deprived citizens of cash, valuables, jewellery and other items during different incidents in Faisalabad.

Police told Express News that robbers entered the house of Allah Ditta in Lundianwala area and held the members hostage at gun point.

The culprits looted cash, jewellery and cell phones and fled the scene. In another incident, robbers shot at and injured Naveed after he resisted a robbery bid near Gulistan Colony.

They snatched money from him and escaped. Meanwhile, outlaws also deprived citizens of their motorcycles and cars from various parts of the city.

The police have registered cases against the unidentified suspects and have started investigations. Mugging and robbery incidents are on the rise in the district. However, the police have failed to control criminal activities.
