Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairperson and Asif Ali Zardari said that those attempting to derail Bilawal Bhutto’s politics will be unsuccessful, Express News reported.

Speaking in Islamabad on Saturday, the former president recalled that PPP is accustomed to face hindrances and the recent attempts to block party’s election campaign is not a new tactic.

“Why are you blocking our path when you do not fear defeat?” said the PPP stalwart while taking a jibe at the administration.

Zardari added that he is confident that his party would be victorious as their “manifesto promises development, enlightenment and peace”.

Expressing anguish over the recent attacks on election campaigns and political leaders, he said the country could not rid of terrorism because it failed to implement the National Action Plan (NAP).
