According to details, four children of Maroof Akram, a resident of Police Foundation Housing Society, went missing from outside their home on July 10, 2018. The concerned father informed the police about the sudden disappearance of the children aged between 12 and four and police immediately started their search, with directions received from senior officials.
Special investigation teams were formed by SP (Rural) Liaqat Hayat Niazi under supervision of SDPO Sihala ASP Rana Wahab and efforts were accelerated to locate them. The teams were sent to Gujranwala, Sargodha and Karachi following information collected.
These children were located within 48 hours in custody of their real mother. The children were previously living with their father and step mother, as their parents had gotten a divorce three years ago. The police was not informed about the real mother of children who had been living in Dubai. Police succeeded in discovering that their real mother came to Pakistan recently and she planned secretly with the children to take them along with her from Police Foundation while they were playing along with other kids in street.
In another case, a girl named Alisha (9 years of age) went missing on July 12, 2018 at 1:15 pm from Civic Centre Bahria Town. An FIR No. 312 was immediately registered U/S 364A In PS Lohi Bher. Police teams were constituted to recover the abducted child.
The abducted child was recovered by police within 24 hours. After being recovered, the child was handed over to the family.
