Sheikh Rasheed demands ‘judicial martial law’ in the country

Last year, he made headlines after a dramatic escape from Lal Haveli, after it was raided and sealed by the police. Tricking the security officials, Rasheed made his way through narrow streets, addressed party workers and evaded law enforcers. Sitting atop a vehicle, the AML chief lit a cigar before addressing his workers at Rawalpindi's Committee Chowk on October 28, 2017.
