12 recovered from kidnappers in DG Khan

However, the criminals manages to escape their clutches during a joint operation

DERA GHAZI KHAN: As many as 12 people were recovered from kidnappers during a joint operation between the police, the elite force and other law enforcement agencies.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of Dera Ghazi Khan DPO Muhammed Umer Sheikh on Wednesday.

Sources revealed that criminals from Rajanpur and Rahim Yar Khan had abducted Ghulam Fareed, Nazir Ahmed, Nasir, Munawer, Shahid, Ameen, Ameer Baksh, Muhammed Nawaz, Qaiser, Yousaf, Abdul Hakeem and Jaan Muhammad a few days ago.

Three 'kidnappers' of schoolchild arrested

As per the directives issued by Punjab Police Inspector General Syed Kaleem Imam, police launched an operation against criminals in the area. They, along with the elite force, Rahim Yar Khan police, the special operations unit and other law enforcement agencies came together to recover the kidnapped individuals.

Officials were successful in managing to recover the missing citizens. However, the criminals managed to escape their clutches.

Police stated that they were currently pursuing all possible leads and will apprehend the criminals as soon as possible. Punjab Police IG appreciated the efforts of the police team and lauded them on conducting a successful operation.
