'Sanju' managed to cross INR 3 billion in just ten days

Just ten days after its release, Rajkumar Hirani directorial Sanju managed to cross over INR3 billion, proving that Hirani and actor Ranbir Kapoor are probably one of the most successful director-actor pair of recent times.

With a stellar cast and outstanding efforts, Hirani was able to make Sanju one of the biggest hits of all time, reported Filmfare.

It was previously said that the Sanju became the latest Bollywood film to have bagged the biggest advance booking of 2018. Just three days after its release, the biopic had already taken the box office by storm. Sanju is undoubtedly Kapoor’s biggest hit of his career.

With so much success, it is not unusual to assume that Kapoor and Hirani may have had talks regarding future projects together. Apparently, Kapoor has already made suggestion to Hirani of the same.

A source close to the actor revealed, "Ranbir told Raju that so far he’s made two movies each with Sanjay Dutt and Aamir Khan and all of them became huge hits. So he wanted to know when the film-maker would do a second film with him as the leading man, discounting his cameo in PK."

The insider added, "He also asked how many movies Raju would be willing to make with him. The film-maker smiled and replied, ‘I’ll do five movies with you’."
