KARACHI: The weather in the metropolis turned pleasant after various areas experienced a light drizzle on Wednesday morning, Express News reported.

Localities of Defence, Landhi, Korangi, Malir, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Shahrah-e-Faisal and North Karachi experienced strong winds accompanied by light rain and many residents made their way to the beach to enjoy the weather. Due to slippery roads, several incidents involving motorcyclists were reported.

In a forecast on Tuesday, the Met Department predicted that Karachi's weather would remain moderate for the next four days as the metropolis would experience overcast conditions.

While the rain brought a smile to the faces of many Karachi residents, several areas were deprived of electricity. Experts have advised residents to be careful and stay away from broken wires and electrical devices and not to touch utility wires with wet hands. Motorcyclists have also been asked to be careful and drive cautiously.

There were reports of light drizzle and rainfall from various parts of the metropolis on Tuesday night.
