At least 10 killed in Nawabshah accident

Rescue teams and police officials have moved the bodies and injured to a local hospital

HYDERABAD: At least 10 people were killed and 35 others injured when a coach, van and car collided on the Mehran Highway in Nawabshah on Friday, Express News reported.

A passenger coach travelling to Punjab from Karachi ran into a van while another car crashed into the vehicles leading to the death of at least eight people on the spot.

Shortly after the accident, rescue teams and police officials arrived at the scene and moved the bodies and injured to a hospital.

Four killed, 29 injured in separate accidents in Balochistan

In June, at least four people were killed and as many injured in separate road accidents in different parts of Balochistan. According to details, three people were killed and one other injured when a motorbike hit a Quetta-bound car on main highway near Muslim Bagh.

In another incident, a car collided with a dumper truck on River Road in Hub. As a result, three people sustained serious injuries. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The third incident took place in Barkhan Town where Wazir Khan lost his life after being run over by a tractor trolley. Later, the body was handed over to the heirs after completion of medico-legal formalities.

Local police registered the cases while investigations are under way.
