Ed Sheeran sued for allegedly plagiarising ‘Thinking Out Loud’

English singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran was sued for at least $100 million for allegedly plagiarising large parts of Marvin Gaye’s classic Let’s Get It On for his smash hit Thinking Out Loud. The lawsuit was filed by a company owned by David Pullman, an investment banker who in 1997 arranged the pioneering $55 million sale of Bowie Bonds, which made David Bowie the first musician to sell bonds backed by royalties from his catalogue.



Bryan Adams opens up about alleged affair with Princess Diana

It’s been 21 years since Princess Diana passed away but people have still not given up on speculating about Diana’s private life; what drove a rift between her and her husband Prince Charles; who the troubled princess was actually in love with and why. The latest speculations pertain to rumours of a whirlwind affair with Grammy-winning singer Bryan Adams. Back in March, reports of the possible link-up arose after Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell, on an episode of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here, reportedly said he used to sneak the Summer of 69 hit maker into Kensington Palace to see her, reported E! News. Bryan Adams on the other hand still neither confirms nor denies the allegations.



Jo Jackson dies at 89

Joseph “Joe” Jackson, the patriarch who launched the musical Jackson family dynasty, died after suffering a long battle with cancer. The news of his death came nine days after his son Micheal Jackson’s death anniversary. Jackson was the father and at times manager to pop stars and siblings, Michael and Janet Jackson, along with the sibling-singing group, The Jackson 5.

Pakistani Archbishop Joseph Coutts from Karachi was appointed as a cardinal by Pope Francis. Coutts is one of the 14 cardinals appointed by the head of the Vatican from a diverse selection of countries including Iraq, Madagascar and Japan. Among other commendable initiatives, he also promotes dialogue between Christians and Muslims.



Leonardo Dicaprio and Brad Pitt to share screen space for the first time

One of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Leonardo Dicaprio and Brad Pitt will soon be seen together on screen for the first time in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming flick Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The movie centres around the infamous Manson Family murders of 1969. Dicaprio shared the first look of their characters on Instagram in which they’re dressed in 60s era inspired outfits. Looking at this image, we cannot wait to see the two stars act together!
