Rocky welcome for Bilawal in PPP ‘stronghold’
Bilawal thanked the people of Tando Muhammad Khan for waiting for more than eight hours as he was scheduled to reach Monday evening.
Later, he was also welcomed by jiyalas at Hyderabad at around 5am. "I'm thankful to the public of Hyderabad for coming out in large numbers early Tuesday morning," he appreciated.
At every stopover, the PPP chief has been repeating the same speech to different crowds.
Speaking in favour of accountability, Bilawal said there shouldn't be selective accountability for PPP. Rather, it should be carried out across the board. He said this while addressing a large crowd at Rawal Farm in Tando Jam on Tuesday.
Addressing the people of Matiari, the PPP chief said the large crowd reminded him of the welcome received in 2007 by his mother, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. He appealed to the people for votes to complete the unfulfilled mission of Benazir.
A kathputli ittehad [puppet alliance] is contesting against the PPP in Sindh, Bilawal said referring to the Grand Democratic Alliance. We will eradicate poverty, reduce unemployment and end food shortages, he said.
According to him, the Benazir Food Support Programme will be initiated to end food insecurity among the underprivileged. Food stores will be opened at the union council level to further open avenues of employment for women, he claimed.
"I want opponents to come up with a manifesto or programme for the people," he said to the people of Matiari. In Hala, Bilawal spoke about the PPP's manifesto, terming it as "masses and farmer-friendly". He said Hala was the city where his grandfather first announced his manifesto.

In Shahdadpur, Bilawal was welcomed by thousands of its residents. "I'm missing my mother after seeing the energy of the crowd that has come to welcome me," he shared.
Today (Wednesday), the PPP chief will embark on a road journey to Sukkur from Nawabshah.
