PPP shuns ANP for next month’s polls
Awami National Party (ANP) Provincial President Ameer Haider Hoti on Tuesday said that if elected, his party will develop the tribal districts and make them prosperous.
Addressing a public gathering at the Government Girls High School ground in Khar on Tuesday, he said that provision of basic and modern facilities to the people of tribal districts was at the top of their election manifesto.
He said the people of tribal districts, who always rendered tremendous sacrifices for the country, had been deprived of basic and modern facilities.
The ANP leader and former provincial chief minister went on to say that his party will not only ensure basic and modern facilities to its people but would make the tribal districts even more developed and prosperous than some settled areas.
He went on to claim that the ANP was the only party in the province which knew the real problems plaguing people apart from having a good handle on the needs of tribal district residents.

Pointing to the record of their government from 2008 to 2013, Hoti said that at least one university will be set up in each tribal district should his party return to the power corridors in the upcoming general elections.
The ANP leader also lashed out at the PTI for misguiding the people of the province by doing little more than just changing names. He claimed that the PTI had failed to fulfil its commitment.
The gathering, arranged by ANP local chapter, was also addressed by Malik Gul Zada and Gul Afzal Khan, ANP candidates for NA-40 and NA-41 respectively.
