LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz on Monday said that PML-N would return to power with the vote of the masses.

Speaking to senior party leaders at the PML-N Model Town, he said, the past PML-N government during its five years tenure had completed dozens of mega development projects in the country, “which was an ample proof of its selfless public service”.

Shehbaz added the performance of PML-N government in Punjab and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa was very much before the people and they would decide which party served them and which wasted the nation’s precious time through sit-ins and lockdowns.

Lahore is a citadel of PML-N, Hamza said, adding that those dreaming to conquer it would face humiliating defeat in the general election.

“July 25 will be the doomsday for our political antagonists,” he claimed.

He said eliminating load-shedding from the country was great deed of the Nawaz government. Hamza said that holding fair, free and transparent polls is the responsibility of the caretaker set-up.

Moreover, the son of PML-N president said that he will run election campaign for Maryam Nawaz in National Assembly constituency NA-127, according to sources.

As Maryam is in London to look after ailing mother Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, Hamza would visit her constituency and address public meetings in her absence.
“Hamza has devised a comprehensive policy to ensure victory for Maryam Nawaz,” sources added.
