He continued, “This is the first time since the revival of our film industry that such extensive measures are being taken for the advertisement of a film. There are countless billboards all over Lahore and we just want the public to relive the glorious films of the past through Jackpot, and believe that those days will soon be coming back.”

Riaz went on to say that he and his team are seeking the public’s support for the success of local cinema. “We request the public to watch this film and I believe they will not be disappointed.”

The producer also spoke of the competition Jackpot faces from Bollywood films. “Cinemas are continuously busy, especially since the release of Indian films Sanju and Race 3. We are purposely releasing local films in the presence of Bollywood releases in order to eliminate any fear in local producers delaying the release of their current projects.”

'Sanju' surpasses 'Padmaavat' and 'Baahubali 2', earning INR1.2 billion in three days

He added, “We believe in our talent, skills and aspirations, and are hopeful that the quality of films we have produced has justly portrayed this talent. We have focused on flair and technology this time as it was missing in the past.”

The film-maker also admitted that a lot of money was invested in Jackpot and thus, it is now up to the general public to play their role by giving it a good response. “I appreciate those who gave us a positive response during the promotions for the film and who will do so after the trailer launch too,” Riaz said. “However, our real support will be from those who choose to watch the film on the silver screen with their friends and families.”
