Chinese delegation visits PTDC 

Important for tour operators of both countries to establish links to promote tourism, PTDC general manager says

China is the top outbound tourist generating country in the world and it has also given Pakistan the status of most favorable country, PTDC chief says

ISLAMABAD: A 10-member delegation from Southwest China led by Chendu Overseas Travel President Heyu Guan visited Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) where they received a warm welcome from PTDC officials. PTDC General Manager Ali Akbar Malik briefed the delegation about PTDC’s activities for promotion of tourism. “Pakistan and China’s friendly relations have been ideal for the past 70 years and they are strengthening the formation of CPEC,” he said. “China is the top outbound tourist generating country in the world and it has also given Pakistan the status of most favorable country, so it is important for tour operators of both countries to establish links to promote tourism jointly.”
