The attack comes a day after six terrorists killed and two army soldiers martyred in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Ladha area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s South Waziristan tribal district.
The raid triggered a heavy exchange of fire, ISPR said in a statement. "Nanakar, a high-value target responsible for attacks on local residents and tribal elders, was among those died in today’s raid."
On June 15, three soldiers were martyred in attacks in Shawwal, North Waziristan, while five terrorists killed in an exchange of fire.
