KARACHI: It's no surprise that Pakistan's film industry is witnessing a boom. However, not many seem to fare well at the box office. With more films scheduled to hit screens this year, one can only hope for some improvement. Starring Ali Zafar and Maya Ali in the lead, the trailer of Teefa in Trouble looked promising. With the recently released track from the film titled Item Number, it seems like this upcoming film might do some wonders.

Ali Zafar’s physical transformation for 'Teefa In Trouble' will shock you!

Sung by Ali himself and Aima Baig, the song shows Teefa (Ali) and Anya (Maya) dancing to a very peppy number. Not only is the tune catchy but it also cleverly hints at the use of item numbers in films. Speaking of how such songs serve eye candy to help the film business, Ali seems to have penned down the perfect lyrics.

Keeping up to his word, Item Number is not an item number, however, there sure is some dancing in the video. Starring in Bollywood films such as Kill Dill and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Ali seems to ace at dancing as well. But Maya falls short.

While the Mann Mayal star has been spotted shaking a leg at various wedding events, she doesn't match up to Ali's level of skill in Item Number. Sporting braided hair and smokey makeup, Maya looks like a total bad-ass beauty as the rest of the dance crew also stuns in probably the best costume design ever seen in a Pakistani film.

It comes as no surprise that the video of Item Number is a visual treat. Ahsan Rahim marks his film directorial debut with Teefa in Trouble, however, he has directed various TVCs and music videos in the past. The film is set to hit theatres on July 20.
