Man, family thrashed by hotel waiters

ISLAMABAD:

The Kohsar police on Sunday booked waiters of a fast food outlet for beating up a man and his family members. The young man was thrashed allegedly by waiters of a fast food outlet in capital’s posh F-6 sector on Saturday evening, police said.

The man whose identity could not be known, had come from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa along with his family. They were having dinner at the hotel at Jinnah Super Market of the F-6 Markaz. The guest had an altercation with one of the waiters on bill, who called waiters from nearby restaurants to beat up the guests black and blue. Other people at the site rescued the man and his family members from the waiters.

The president of the market association condemned the incident and said that there it has become an order of the day when his association received complaints against the waiters for misbehaving with guests. He said that the association will take action against the waiters.
