Buried under: 7 killed after mosque wall collapses

VEHARI: Seven people were injured after the wall of a mosque, currently under construction, fell on them. According to rescue officials, the incident occurred in Vehari’s 911-WB area where the Masjid Uqba was being constructed.

The wall was being refurbished when it collapsed and crushed a family dining on the other side. Due to the collapse, seven people were killed. The deceased include four children.

The family was taken to the hospital by Rescue 1122 officials but died on the way to the DHQ hospital.
