Commander Southern Command Lt Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Prominent among others present were PPL Managing Director Wamiq Bukhari, NUST Pro-Rector Academics Dr Asif Raza and senior civil and military officers.
The chief guest termed the NUST outreach a landmark initiative that will go a long way in providing equal opportunities to the youth of underserved areas of the country.
The four-week coaching programme, which kicked off on June 21, 2018 and will go on till July 20, 2018, will enable the selected students to compete with the students from more developed areas of Pakistan, and qualify for admission at NUST, the premier higher education institution of Pakistan.
