‘Decide all pending cases by June 30’

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) instructed all district and session judges to make decisions on all important cases, including those that are pending, on Thursday. After approval from LHC Chief Justice Muhammad Yawar Ali, Director General District Judiciary Rao Abdul Jabbar issued directives to all district and session judges in the province. The judges were told to decide cases pending since 2011 by June 30 latest. All session and civil judges were also directed to hear cases daily until June 30. Further, judges were directed to decide cases relating to child maintenance allowance, dowry and other such cases on a priority basis.
