PML-N candidate: Nadeem Khadim gets NA-66 ticket

JHELUM: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has finally ended the suspense surrounding its candidates for Jhelum after it handed the ticket for national assembly constituency 66 Jhelum to Chaudhry Nadeem Khadim. Moreover, it handed tickets for the Punjab Assembly constituencies PP-25 and PP-26 to Mehr Muhammad Fayyaz and Chaudhry Talal Hussain respectively. After the announcement, workers distributed sweets at the Gujjar House in Jhelum to celebrate.  In a small ceremony at Gujjar House, Khadim was seen celebrating the award of the ticket, stating it was a reward for remaining uncontroversial and free of enmity.  “The party has taken the best decision,” he stated, adding, “we will hopefully bag this seat and please party founder Nawaz Sharif” The party awarded a ticket for PP-27 to Matloob Mehdi, overlooking former MPA Raja Owais Khalid.
