Pakistan Railways announces free travel for senior citizens over Eid
Offer by railways extends to all trains and seat classes
Pakistan Railways on Monday announced that passengers aged 65 and above will be able to travel for free during the first two-days of Eid, reported Express News.
The offer by the country's railway applies to all trains and all seat classes.

The announcement of the package came at the directives of caretaker Minister for Railways Roshan Khursheed. A notification was also issued by the Railway Ministry with regards to the package.
According to the notification, ticketing will be free of cost on duplicate CNIC while advanced reservation, E-ticketing and BPT will also be issued at the reservation and booking offices at train stations.
However during travel, commuters will be required to carry their original CNIC , upon showing their CNIC at the railway station, tickets will be issued immediately to the passengers.
