Over 500 patients treated at FC free medical camp in Kuchlak

240 men, 140 women and 120 children, were examined and given medicines free of cost

QUETTA: The Ghaza Band Scouts of the Balochistan Frontier Corps on Monday organised a one-day long free medical camp in Kuchlak, 25 kilometres from the provincial capital.

More than 500 patients suffering from various diseases were treated at the camp.

They were also given basic medical tests.

FC conducts free medical camp

According to an FC spokesperson, the free medical camp was arranged on the special directives of Inspector General Frontier Corps Balochistan Major General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum. The FC and private doctors examined the patients. About 500 patients, including 240 male, 140 women and 120 children, were examined and given medicines free of cost besides performing diagnostic tests.

Commandant Ghaza Band Scouts Colonel Rab Nawaz said, “The FC has held free medical camps in various parts of the district where hundreds of patients were provided medicines free of cost.”

Balochistan hospitals to be automated

Residents of the area highly appreciated the endeavours of the FC to mitigate sufferings of ailing patients living in these distant areas and asked for more such medical camps in the future.

He promised that FC would organise free medical camps in respective areas of the district to provide free medical facilities to the needy people.

Local tribes appreciated the step taken by the FC and expressed their satisfaction.
